Cookies and active components

So-called session cookies are used. Session cookies are small pieces of information that a provider stores in the RAM of the visitor's computer. A randomly generated unique identification number is stored in a session cookie, a so-called session ID. A cookie also contains information about its origin and the storage period. These cookies cannot store any other data.

Cookies can be controlled with all internet browsers. Most browsers are set to accept all cookies without asking users. If you want to use the full functionality of the website, you should set your browser to accept session cookies.
If you reject all cookies, the login function cannot be used and no related content can be maintained.

Active components

Rainer IT GmbH's information offering uses active components such as Javascript, Java applets or Active-X controls to improve performance and the range of functions. You can switch off this function by changing the settings in your internet browser.

Data security

When visiting our website, we use the common SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in your browser.

We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
